February is National Children’s Dental Health Month #NCDHM. Our goal during this month will be to provide our youngest patients, their parents and caregivers information on how to maintain positive dental health. NCDHM started out as a one day event in Cleveland, Ohio and has since become a month long, nationwide celebration.
Our goal is to keep children’s smile beautiful now and for years to come. By establishing good dental habits and attitudes at an early age we are setting up our children for good oral health in their future.
Tips to maintain good oral health in children:
Brush twice a day
Floss your teeth at least once a day!
Be sure to schedule dental cleanings 2x per year
Ask your dentists about sealants and how they can protect your child’s teeth.
Coloring Conte
In honor of NCDHM we are running a coloring contest for elementary aged students. To participate, simply download the coloring sheet here.
Rules:
There will be two age groups, 5-7 & 8-11. There will be one winner per group.
All coloring sheets must be submitted in person at our office located at, 256 Boston Post Road, Waterford, CT. Submissions must be received by March 1.
Please make sure all submissions are clearly marked with the child’s name, parent’s name, and the parent’s contact information, email & phone.
Each winner (2) will receive a $25 Toys R Us Gift Card.
